Around this time last year, I had a breakdown after a great weekend receiving God's word to not wait but be proactive. I had a huge burden that I couldn't carry anymore and I went and shared my concerns with a few of my friends. I had no expectation what so ever. I was chock to see how some of them were opened and willing to make a step in my direction and others were neutral. I was mostly grateful because I no longer  had to carry that burden.

Now it's a year later and sad to say that things went back the way it was...
But one thing is different! I'm not sad about it I'm not frustrated or disappointed. I can't change people and their ways. And that's one of the thing that I told them last year. I wasn't mad, they didn't do anything wrong but I assumed they would have done the extra mile because they loved and cared. Such is life. I realize and see clearly that not everyone is here to stay forever in my life. There's a reason and a season for everything and everyone.

I remember years if not a decade and more, I've ask God to help me start fresh. But forgot to ask him how to, thinking I could do it. Harder that I thought. Well, we live and learn and I'm still learning.

I'm grateful for all that was shared, all that I've learned I take nothing for granted, NOW I'm moving on!
