Yep, that's right!

There's was 2 opening for Beijing and while texting my friend asking her if she wanted to do it with me, work was calling me. They offered me a Shanghai! And yes I wanted to take it but I ask Elisabeth (on the other end of the line) if Kim and I could get the Beijing and she said yes!!

So yeah, we basically had less then 3 hours to get ready.

Pack my stuff and jumped in the cab.

The flight, well you know, 13h flight that's long...

But over all, it went well!

Nice crew! and I was glad that Kim accepted to come along!

We got there, tired slept in the shuttle.

Kim and I decided to stay in and dine in the hotel restaurant.

Mistake mistake... we opted for the buffet... we lots our money.

Well, let me put it that way.

I'm used to the "American" version of Chinese food, so for me that food was lacking of taste.

Anyhow.

The next day, 8 o'clock sharp, we, the crew, were all downstairs ready to go shopping.

jump in cabs to the Pearl Market.

Oh my gosh, let me tell you, IT'S RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP!

What! For real.

Ok, maybe it's not the real deal but close to it at a none sense price.

I didn't buy much because I had no needs.

You should have seen the other ladies with there luggage or bags almost as big as a hockey bag...

That's serious business and I'm sure they didn't spend more then $150.

Anyways, next time I go, because I will go back!!! I'll make a list and buy my stuff there.

Oh, the other thing, oh boy, it was super cold.

What!

Too cold, colder then Montreal.

I was in shock, anyways.

Over all, great experience!

And I can't wait for my next oversea destination.

Oh yes, Frankfurt!
Work is good and fun! I say that then I'll turn around and complain about all those "red eyes"
For now I'll enjoy all those great layovers!! Whoop Whoop!!!

So Frankfurt.
Got the call around 10 in the morning

Every time I have to go to work, I ask God to give me crew, a nice flight and a nice layover.
And indeed, I had a nice crew and a nice layover.

So we got in around 6ish Frankfurt time which is 6 hours difference.
So tired I slept during the way to the hotel.
After taking a nap in my comfortable bed I went out with one of the girls.

I didn't take that much pictures this time. One of the reasons is because my camera died on me... so disappointed. Now is not the time to spend money on a new gadget... Anyhow. And it was getting dark really fast. Anyhow I'll go back.

We walked a lot and I live to walk so that was perfect.

We all went out for diner, and I had a blast. That crew was amazing, I think that's one of my best layover so far. Well, the crew always makes a difference.
Shout out to Juliet! You are funny indeed!

I had the famous Schnitzel, it was really good.
2 glasses of wine, Happy Hour!!!
And I shared an apple strudel and white chocolate mouse.
Let me tell you I slept well!

No need to say that I'm grateful.
That was a nice X-Mas gift!

So you know, What's next?!!!

Well well, back in Hong Kong.

I didn't do much this time. But I did enjoy my time with the crew. We went out for a girl cosmetic shopping day, lol! I didn't buy much cuz you know, Black don't crack, but I did have fun with the crew, very nice ladies!

I had in mind to go and walk around but I was so tired the next day, I wasn't able to stay on my feet... Oh boy, I had to stay in.
Anyways.

Not sure but I think there was a barbie festival or something at Time Square...

And my rice pizza place was close... so sad. I didn't go for my ultimate favorite ice cream because of the cold weather.

Overall, like always, I had a good time.

24 hours

The odds that I would have an other oversea in a short period of time.
Well, I was trying to avoid any calls from work to keep on with my regular schedule with my great team that I was for the last 2 days.
In my room in Sandman Hotel in Vancouver, getting ready for my next flight "Edmonton" well they called every number they knew!
So I finally answered! And here I am in Narita, Tokyo, Japan.

Great crew!

The flight went super well, a 10hour flight. We got there at 6pm Japan time witch is 5am Montreal time. I was already 3 hours behind being in Vancouver, now I'm all upside down.

Anyhow, we all went for diner, the food was Good! I had my favorite, gyoza (dumplings)! Hummy in my tummy! with fried rice and chicken. We walked around and head back to the hotel.

Hard time sleeping but I slept well.
Today's plan is walking and taking pictures! Shuttle pass at 10:15

So I've been told not to tip, it's an insult. And since I'm taking the shuttle to go to the village, it's free!!
I just had a great breakfast. It's 10am.

It's interesting to know what's going on un other culture. Since I don't understand japanese I'm not going in.
Fun to see the little girls in there kimono and those high sandals!

The old Japanese ladies just told me I have great hair! I think that what they were saying..., lol!

I'm sweating but yet I see people wearing coat... and I got a mosquito bit...

I can say that drivers have more respect for pedestrian here than Hong Kong!
Smell of essence and smoke salmon.

I was thinking going to McDonald and see if taste good like in Hong Kong but I'm really not hungry... Anyways, it's almost 1pm The shuttle is at 1:35 so I'll slowly make my way to the pick up.

Enough time to order 2 orders of gyoza!!! Yieee for my lunch/diner before we leave. Way better then mcdeez

So as always, I'm not buying anything except eating the great food !

The people seems friendly some were looking at me as if... I don't know... I didn't give them a chance to analyze me too much.

I'm happy I can visit the world for living! I would come back and see more cuz there's more to see.

My bed is huge, I got local coca, chocolate and fruits lol!

Today's trip is around the city with my crew!

Went to the market

Had a great lunch at the food market

My camera batterie died...

Went for a drink at beer lounge

So far so good!

Walking close to the market we end up on hookerville...

No shame I tell you.

Went to the dentist, I know...

It's so cheap in Bogota

He told me "no bleach for you"

My teaths are fine I just need to flows... and braces....

Anyhow...

Temperure is nice 19 during the day.

We went to the mall Andino then

Head back to the hotel

Had a drink or two... and then we went out for souper

Café Renault, a Great Italian place in a very trendy neighborhood

I ordered a pizza but only had 2 slices

By 11pm I was back in bed

...I didn't see any black person... Ok 2 at the hotel ONLY!?!

Bogota day 3

Breakfast with the crew.

At first I wasn't impress with there breakfast buffet... but since the crew is regular... some have there personal "server" so they told me what to order.

The fruit tea was AMAZING!

I went for a walk arourd the block.

Then to Unicentro mall.

We had lunch at a local bistro. Food was really good.

Then back to my room by 4:30pm ...

We're flying tonight so time to rest a bit.

I really had a great time in Bogota! I drank a lot or too much... and had a lot of "frijoles" let just say, Thank God I didn't kill anyone with all that good food, if you know what I mean!

Thanks to my youtube friends I have two more hairstyle.
After an hour I had to stop... didn't have time to finish that 3rd one.

Lately I've thinking of restarting my locs...
Still thinking... It has been more the 3 years.
My goal was for 5 years then decide what's next..

There's days that I miss my afro and my boy cut.
Probably because I saw my friends Junie and Ingrid's new hairstyle.
But I've been contemplating sister locs in the past months as well.
And then I always wanted to try those edgy styles... like Salt and Pepper back in the days but more up to date.
What to do?!

LA day six

Day 6

Well we were supposed to wake-up super early, go for breakfast then the pool then China Town and finish the day in Hollywood but we slept over and woke up at almost 10 this morning. Then Dee decides to over clean her ear and guess what the cotton got stuck in her ear. Wowzer! Peggy tried to remove it, she did her best but it got stuck in. So she called Betty the best nurse ever in Montreal!!! Since we won't be in Montreal within the next 24h it was best for her to go see a doctor.

We went to IHOP and we're at the clinic right now.

So this random guy, Mr. Taylor, sitting next to us goes: "I don't want to insult you but, I bought my bracelet in Ghana/Africa for a charity and I want to buy more, where in Africa are you guys from?!" We started to laugh hard. "We're not from Africa! Our ancestor are but we're not!" and he goes " but you guys speak an other language? Are you from the Caribbean?!" it’s French and our parents are but we were born in Canada! He said, "Sorry I'm so ignorant!" Over all he was a very funny interesting guy! He made us laugh! He moved 6 years ago in LA. In general people move to LA and see if they can make it and if not they go back home. And he mentioned that they are not too big about celebrating the 4th of July. That's probably why we didn't see much yesterday.

So Dee's out and the doctor didn’t have the tool to remove the cotton. We went to an other clinic, $50 for consultation and $75 to remove the cotton! So Dee decided to keep it in! So first thing to do in her list tomorrow: remove that thing for FREE!

So we're at the pool taking some sun, it's our last 24h before we leave the city...

Overslept at the pool, the sun was hot… My nose is starting to crack… it’s not pretty… lol! Forget about China Town we’re going to Millions Milkshakes!!! Yieee! After an hour to decide where an what to do… We went across for diner, Carl’s Jr. then straight to get a milkshake.

It was good!

So this is it, the girls are sleeping and I think I’ll do the same.

In the morning we fly back to Montreal.

LA was fun.

I had a great time with 2 great friends!

Next destination… maybe San Francisco or Las Vegas, we’ll see.

Day 5

Why am I up, it's 5 in the morning.

Well, happy b-day too all the Americans! Happy Independence Day! 4th of July, what a nice day to be born!!!

Last night I heard the fireworks going on but I was too knock out to go check it out.

It's already day 5! Honestly, at first I though a week was too much in LA but we did so much so far, I was no regrets!

Today, we’re probably going to take it easy. Enjoy the celebration, the pool and go to the Cheesecake Factory if we can make it there!

Right now I'll close my eyes and try to sleep a bit more.

So, no more El Pollo Loco for me... I'm not in a great shape...

For lunch, we went to eat at IHOP! I had a juicy burger with fries and lemonade! Hummy!

We're taking this day easy!

Back in our room, Peggy's on the Internet and Dee is sleeping.

So after Independence day, the movie with Will Smith, we're off too Cheesecake Factory at the Farmer's Market.

Food was good but the plates were toooo big.

We walked around took a few pictures and head back to the hotel.

So, it's pass midnight.

I have to say, Dee stop taking pictures of yourself every 2 min, it's a bit narcissistic. And Peggy, just buy new batteries for your camera. Lol! I'm teasing you but I'm happy we're spending the week together!

LA day four

Day 4

I was up super early this morning, well 6 am LA time but in reality 9am home time. I add some pics on my blog. Looking in the mirror I can see that I have a nice uniform skin, thank you sun!

So today is day two of our tour, so back to downtown and then Universal Studio and will finish the day with Madame Tussaud, all that only if it's in God's will.

So out we go to eat.

The girls are craving IHOP, so IHOP it is.

After walking around and asked a few people we finally reach the IHOP, only to see a line up...

At this point I'm HUNGRY, me want to eat NOW!

So we walked to the Denny's next door, guess what, an other line up. Well, I didn't waste time; the gas station is my friend. I got myself a cheese danish and a strawberry and kiwi juice!

We finally got our table 30 min later. I'm glad I eat something.

Day 4 is not a good day, there's always a bad day right, so it's all good! But let me tell you something, it's so easy to get around in LA, if you don't mind walking, buses and train, do it instant of the tour. It's so cheap to get around here. That bus tour is getting on my nerves with there schedules. They should be on time and they should give only the right schedule. If it's over do the get rid of it, recycle or something. Anyways, I'm having a 30 min tan because of that perfect schedule so it's a bittersweet situation!!

Well LA has the biggest Korean population after Korea and they are all in Korea city, no doubt, lol!

Did you know that Nath King Cole's family was the first black Americans in LA! Go Nath! And did you know that because of the Internet many artist not to say all have to cut in there money share but not Wil Smith! You go Will!

Like Peggy said:" When they take over, they take over!" China Town looks like China! There houses, their plaza, restaurants, the way they dress, everything! Wow!

It's only 3:40pm and I tired... I need to do a little siesta...

Oh boboye, lol! I did fall a sleep, I missed have haft of the tour. Well that gave me more energy!

So, on our way to Universal Studio!

In the bus with some AC. Everyone on the street is getting ready for the fireworks tonight! They have all they need, food, drinks... Mind you, it only 5:30 and the show is only tonight!

Universal was nice, next time, we'll the day or an evening. Our chauffeur was really nice!

Back to Hollywood to the Madame Tussaud. It's my second time, first one was in London. This one is 10X smaller but nice. Happy I didn't pay for it but glad I saw different actors and I was with the girls so this time is 10X better!

The street is jam pack of people! And it's the long weekend!!! Tomorrow they will really celebrate can't wait to see that.

So after walking around and taking more pictures we're off to El Pollo Loco! Just for Peggy! She had a bad experience on our first day with her grilled chicken at the Thai restaurant. So now, we're going for the really thing, well you know...

Well El Pollo Loco was ok... We have better in Montreal!

Day 3

Denny's is the place to go!

The waitress recognized us and was glad to see us again!

So in the subway or train, that's how they call it, this random guy start talking to Dee. Why, because we were speaking in French. Do you have a degree?, he goes. And after 2 stops he said: “Have a great days and stay away from the The LA sisters!" lol! I guess LA loves Dee!

The plan today is to go to the beach!

We purchase a 2-day tour that goes from Korea town to downtown LA to Hollywood and straight to Santa Monica beach.

As soon as we enter into Beverly Hill you see people jogging or walking there dogs. Everyone as a dog! Lol!

The gay village seems to be on Santa Monica bl.

Rodeo dr is the shopping mall of the celebrities!!

Beverly hill dr is the best place to eat and they have a cheesecake factory!

Guess where I'm going for my b-day?!

We came for the beach please represent!!

Drivers honk all the time... Patience...

Finally at the Santa Monica Beach! Yes, water from the Pacific Ocean! It was very cold! But once you're in there you just can't get out! Fun time catching those waves!

It's really the city of the Want to be a Star, they're all trying to shine and have there moment of fame!

You see people singing, doing performance, gymnastic tricks.

Overall it’s a really nice beach. There’s lot of thing to do and see.

They have the Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, an amusing park and an aquarium.

The city is clean and windy close to the water.

Wow, all I heard all day in that bus tour in a British accent is: " hop on hop off!"

The ride back was long… We saw a lot of thing but I that point I was cold and hungry.

Back in Hollywood, we went straight to Mc Donald for a quick bit.

Good thing the subway stops right in front of our hotel.

LA day two

Happy Canada Day!

So...

Day 2, I think we were tired last night, lol!

We woke up late, watched "the hair show" with Chris Rock then went for breakfast/brunch at Denny's.

Thank you Lord for Denny's! The food was good and we were good till 5pm!

Is it me are everyone's a singer in that town?!

Then we went to the Korea Plaza. Let me tell you something, they took over the city!

They're all over the map. I personally needed to get out of there.

This girl, oh boboye, I said excuse-me 3 times, she totally ignore me...

What ever, she was probably deaf.

I guess we are different...

So we took the bus and went on Hollywood bl to walk the walk of fame.

We took a few pictures, went for a happy hour: mango margarita and beef tostada...

In that side of the city, there's some brothers and they are polite!

We got a few:" Hi ladies!" that's right! Lol!

Then up to a tour to see the celebrities houses in Hollywood, Beverly Hill and Bel Air.

Just like Fresh Prince said: "Celebrities Houses at Night!" lol!

Except that it was daytime! We didn't see anyone famous... booooo... lol!

Now to be honest I don't remember all the houses that we saw... MJ, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Colombo, the guy from the office, The Play Boy mansion, Tom Cruise, The Hills (the show) and so many more.

Those houses, mansions and condo are worth $$$$$$$$$$,$$ millions of dollars $$$$$.

Wow! So were did we go wrong?!

No I don't want and need a big house but I wouldn't mind the money!

Over all we had a great time for a second day.

We met a few nice people with whom we laugh and other we had a smile connection! Lol!

So,

I was super hungry and after the girls had there little sista, I had to go eat!

What's easy and fast Mc Donald.

First publicity we see: 50 McNuggets for 9.99 that's a lot! Wow. Anyways..

We were greeted with a "Welcome to Mc Donald!" excuse me wowzer!

That's a first! I had the southern style chicken with fries and a strawberry lemonade.

It was good! Forget about my sweet and sour sauce it's 27 cent extra! Lmao!

The place looks nice with a twist of chine town. The music is a bit... Sad...

We went for a walk in on our street and called it a day!

Well well, vacation time with the girls Peggy and Dee.
LA it is!
First day, so far so good. We're in Korea Town!
Hotel is okay, nothing like the pictures on there website...
Let just say the plan is to spend more time in the city then in the room so we won't complain about it... and for the price, it's okay.
We went to eat at a Thai restaurant... we won't go there again... there was a little visitor on the floor looking for some food... no comments

So now it's time to plan our days so more pics coming soon.

Yes Yes Hong Kong.

Wow!

So we left for HONG KONG on Saturday morning.

15 hour flight... but I slept well the night before
and I had a 5 hour nap break.

There's a 13 hour difference....

We arrived there on Sunday.

First impression... the air is so tick...
Lots of mountains.

There's a lot of people in this country!

So I went out with Gina, Kelly-Anne and Anna
and it was an interesting tour around the city.
There's stores, shops, street market, restaurants, billboards EVERYWHERE!!! pretty easy to find your way. So we went to a street market, took the subway, bla bla bla. We didn't find anything to buy... anything that represent Hong Kong. But we had a great time. Then we had to go to Mc Donald! Lol, I tried the grilled chicken sandwich. Let me tell you, it was so gooood. After we head back to the hotel. Gina and I continued our journey, we went to time square the world trade Center. When to eat chinese food then went to the bar for a drink and called it a day!

Let me tell you, it doesn't smell good in Hong Kong, no offense but I almost faint several time. Oh my gosh, it's terrible. Almost everyone was staring at us, especially me. Next time, I'll give my picture and sign autograph, lol! People there don't say excuse-me, if they have to push you or run you down, they will.

We were surprise when we saw groups of women sitting all day in parks, then we've been told that Sunday was day off for all the nannies and they weren't authorize to stay in the house. Must of them weren't from China and don't have any relatives, so they basically spend all day out side. Wow!

Next day, Gina, Kelly-Anne and I went to the super Market, our flight was delay. We walked around the city near the hotel, went for lunch at Toi, we had a pizza, but the base was rice. That was so good, I have to try it at home. Then for those who knows me, I went to Hagen Dazs, the next door neighbor! I had the baileys milkshake! Heaven!

I took more pictures and went back to my room for a quick nap.

That was my 24h in Hong Kong.
I'm grateful for that opportunity.
Visiting the world is just awesome!

We had a great time.

She made two nice cocktail dresses for me and she's working on my maid of honor dress.

She's a young talented designer.

Après 8 heures de vols, la première choses que j'avais envie de faire c'est dormir!
On a décollé à 21h15 et on est arrivé à 10h45 heures locale de Munich.

Le Westin Hôtel Resort (The Westin Grand München Arabellapark) est simplement MAGNIFIQUE!
Un des plus beaux hôtel que j'ai séjournée jusqu'à aujourd'hui.

Il faisait environ 8 degré celsius avec un peu de neige fondante au sol.

Après mettre bien reposée; avec 2 collègues, nous sommes allés au centre-ville nous promener.
Le soleil commençait à se coucher mais malgré tout, j'ai pu apprécier l'architecture de la ville, les grands parcs, les surfer du Englischer Garten, les grands buveurs de bière et j'en passe.

Après un dessert au Rischart nous sommes allés manger au restaurant traditionnel de l'hôtel Paulaner (30% de rabais!)

C'était un 24h bien mérité!

London Baby wow!
Who would of thought England was my next destination... and that soon!
Wowzer!!!!
I'm happy!

So my 27 hours in London...
First I have to say "Man they drink a lot of milk!" lol
some are demanding and have picky special request.
That flight going in London was really something....
Anyways!

So after a nap on a hard bed, we head out to discover London.

Me and 3 other guys started our visit.
We walk a lot... had McDonald's, went to Mme Tussaud (wax figurines), we saw the big clock, took the bus and the subway and we finish our day in a pub.

A lot of you are asking me about the weather there. Well it's London weather, but we were "lucky" enough, no rain just a bit cold.

I wonder if people are left-handed there? They drive on the wrong side.
When you have to cross the street, your best bet is to look down.
Yes yes down! They were kind enough to write on the street which side you're suppose to look before you go ahead.

So anyways, here are the pictures I took. I didn't took much, my battery died on me and in Europe it's not the same voltage.

Over all, I had a wonderful time like always!

After Panama..... Geneva!
Yié!Life is great! Or should I say God is good!!!!
Yes, all the time!
Sometimes you think that life is just boring, same routine, métro boulot dodo...
But your "NOW" situation is not your "FOREVER" lifestyle and I can testify!
Here I am in Geneva! My first time oversea. I never dreamed of Geneva but I'm grateful.
I love my job! I'm getting paid for this. You say: hello, bonjour, serve food and drink, you smile while you're traveling the world.
Ok, I'll probably won't get a Geneva layover for the next months or year but still I get to travel and that's great!Any how that Geneva called happen so fast. I was resting from my Tampa turn and wondering if I would get call for something interesting and praying for an oversea. But I didn't put my hope too high. I was about to seat in front of my computer to look for some apartment and then I got the call! I was so confused. I wasn't sure she said Geneva, I was probably day dreaming or something. I said thank you, ask for a cab since I had to leave asap, lol, and hang up the phone. And then it hit me! I had to ask several time to Johanne if Geneva was really Geneve, lol!!
I'm in Geneva! wow!
I always wanted to travel th world, but never thought that my work would of been that open door!
Anyways I'm loving it so far. I don't have much pictures since I got a quick tour! That crew comes here every weekends so the last thing I wanted to do was to stop them every 15 sec to take a picture. I'm grateful they showed me around and paid me diner!
It's already pass 9pm here and dark outside and we're leaving in the morning so I'll go rest even if in my mind it's only 3pm...

The Novotel hotel is really nice!
I'm just happy!

Anyhow, if you have a dream, a desire, a passion, believe and trust that it will come true! And enjoy the present, maximize the great time and don't put to much energy in things that gets on our last nerves.

Panama Baby!

So after I disappointed attempt to Panama last year, the opportunity came back this year and this time I said: "YES!" to the invitation and I glad I did.

I had a wonderful time there.
My first 2 reaction after singing in the flight "I'm going to Panama bienvenido a Panama!!!!"... was man that resort is really big and man everything is so cheap here!
Everyone was nice, even those who didn't speak a work of English or French... I guess I was the visitor so I should had made that effort to learn more than "gracias, por favor, de nada, holla..." anyhow that didn't stop me to have a great time.

So I shared a room with my best girl ever. We had a blast. Our days were about chilling at the beach to get a nice tan. Always making sure we had our drink not to far. Trying all "A la carte" restaurant and always dressing up or supper.
We basically made sure we were having a great time.

We also when out in the city and we went to see the canal. If you go to Panama you have to go see the canal. I'm not a big fan of water going up and down, but hé, I went, I saw, I'm good. We also went shopping. We were in chock went we saw big stores in there mall, stores we don't even have in Canada! Good for them. And thing are cheap sandal for $2, that's crazy.

I have to say, if you don't like stairs that resort is not the place for you, there's a lot of stairs to go from a place to the other. Or you have to walk a lot if you want to avoid the stairs. But one way or the other you come face to face with stairs!!! lol!
Oh and the food, for me was paradise! Every morning I had rice! That rice was so good. And no I didn't feel guilty since those stairs were there to burn the calories!

Anyhow I really had a blast with all the people I met, they were friendly and nice to me. I'm really happy an content with that week vacation. To bad I had to go back home. Now it's time to save money for a future next destination.

Jusqu'à présent, je suis allée à Winnipeg, Edmonton, La Guardia (NY), Chicago, Philadelphie... et le reste est à venir. Je n'ai que de bons commentaires... THE JOB IS GREAT! Je me vois faire ça pour très longtemps!

Salut je voulais simplement mettre une photo de mes cheveux.
Beaucoup de personne me demande comment j'ai fait ça? Est-ce que j'ai vraiment de dreads...

Avant de prendre la décision d'avoir des dreadlocks je voulais avoir des exemples de "hair style" facile à faire et différent que de juste les laisser pousser.
Et Ingrid est la première personne qui m'a inspiré et accompagné dans ce processus! Merci et je suis pleinement reconnaissante!
La deuxième personne c'est Chesca... nous ne nous connaissons pas mais elle m'inspire à essayer des nouvelles coiffures. Thanks Girl!

Alors à force d'avoir des questions, des commentaires... je vais essayer de "post" des photos de mes coiffures une fois de temps à autre.
